Watching the Udders game and rather wish I wasn't...

When it's 6/4 the draw after 30 mins it's hardly likely to be a thriller is it ?

Thank god we got promoted and have left all that dross behind, every PL game for us is going to end to end stuff with hopefully no teams parking the bus and boring us into submission.

Based upon actual games played its now expected that Paddy Bamford will score 38 goals this season and we will concede 57 penalties <laugh>

The truth is Bamford will get far more space in the final 3rd than he did last season.

He's no slouch, quicker then Harry Kane for example, scores with both feet and his head so what's not to like. We need to stop getting on his back when he doesn't score for a few games. Hopefully Orta secures him on a new contract as he only has a year left after this season.

Forgot to mention Bamford is 26 years old...

Just starting to mature as a player and will continue to improve in my opinion.

Well, there’s no chance of any fans getting on his back this season.

    he’s 27... keep up Jammy ;)

He is good footballer, just last year he couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo. Whether it’s about improving as a footballer or just getting confidence back in front of goal, I don’t know.

We’ll have more opportunities on the break this season and spend less time knocking on the door of packed defences - hopefully that suits him.

He’s started the season playing great. 2 games is a bit quick to draw conclusions, but let’s hope it contnues.

He usually starts well, first 3/4 games, then starts doing the crossbar challenge, and finishes with a couple, let's hope this is his season, as he is our Patrick.

Maybe he thinks his name is Partick :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I remember Billy Connolly saying that he came from Partick and that they had a football team that people think is called Partick Thistle nil

The legendary BC. Bought him a brandy on my honeymoon in Gozo and have a brilliant picture of him with Junior Narcos on his knee. Lovely, lovely guy :emoticon-0148-yes:
