This has been Kent's only opportunity to speak directly to the press, and it was after a performance earlier this month.

This does not sound like someone 100 percent committed to his club

Kent told the Daily Record: “You don’t get fans like Rangers fans so every time I step out on the pitch it’s an honour to represent them. I’ll continue to give my best for Rangers.
“Where my future takes me, I’m not sure but as long as I’ve got a Rangers shirt on, I’ll give my best.”

    Hi Mate

Based on hunches only, agree on Barkley & Kent but have a funny feeling James would be a gem for us. Watched him closely at Swansea after his transfer to the real United fell through and was seriously impressed.

In all honesty I can't say I had ever heard of De Paul and the many others we are linked to and yet am excited at the prospect - maybe I should start playing Football Manager or something.

Oh, and morning (or something) all :emoticon-0150-hands

Hearing lots about Orta in Holland mate and if the new headlines are real I think I know why. This guy was supposed to be going to Arsenal but Leeds now linked with him, but hes a DM so maybe hes a DM who can attack and create? 11 goals last season

Hi Marcos, first of all good to see you back on here :emoticon-0148-yes:
James seems a one trick pony, push it forward and sprint after it, that can be easily sorted by an attacker back tracking him and the RB closing him down tight, might be wrong but if Amigo wants him then that’s fine by me.

When he came Leeds with Swansea, after the sale fell through, he was lightening fast, but Jannson took the ball off him every time, couldn't take a man on or cross the ball.

A good point well made. Actually, I am hanging today, Mrs away with the horses so Junior & I thought it would be a good idea to get on the lash last night. I never learn and she isn't back until Sunday afternoon so it won't get any better :emoticon-0107-sweat

You are quite right, he was poor in that game but he didn't really look up for it. Watched him in a few others and he looked really good to me.

Amsterdam is a good hub for going elsewhere though so it could've been a connecting flight to Spain/Italy for all we know but he mentioned Amsterdam to a fan to put them off where he was actually going, possibly?

another left footed super kooper - and looks like a cultured left boot

is there a midfielder in Europe we haven’t been linked to in the last week?

    is Tommaso bianchi available?

these are the questions we should be asking

I was critical at times, mainly of orta rather than radz for spending loads on u23s that first year and leaving funds unavailable for first team. My frustrations with the management team were mainly with regard to Jan windows where I felt we missed opportunities to secure promotion last year and risked it this year.

now he has ‘life-changing’ funds in according to Kinnear, he’s showing a willingness to protect his investment, and spend it, which is great to see.

I genuinely don’t see it much different now to how I saw it then, you play the cards in front of you.

but I’ll have a slice of humble please, extra cream if I may

Today’s presser, inferred looking at another couple of signings - foreshaw injury set back (surprise!) so that’s where these centre/def midfielder stories are coming from
