But it's not just stadium size is it that counts. Merchandising is a big thing these days. We still have supporters all over the world. There is massive potential business wise to tap into the American market.
Rads has money.. Pots of it. The 49ers investers are mega rich. The club failed to spend in bielsas last pre season and i predicted relegation.
Yep you're right but the key word is "potential". We can potentially compete at the highest level. However it won't happen over the course of 5 years, it will be a longer term project. For that project to succeed we need the PL money to keep rolling in to continue upgrading. Radz has a few hundred million. Sounds alot but it just isn't enough. He won't sell everything he owns just to buy a striker. It would be the equivalent of you selling your house to fund Rodrigo's wage for a week. It's just not how it works. The 49'ers are loaded but they are business people. We won't be a hobby for them like Chelsea were for Abramovich or Man City are for the Arabs. They will expect profits and success. They won't just say "here's a billion, go and spend it!". We can do it but the club needs to be carefully managed and I'd say the last 4 years under Radz would put us in the top 1% of well managed clubs.
Spot on Rads has got more money than I have but compared to real rich people he doesn't make the list, some rich people lost going on for 20x Radz total wealth, yesterday, i.e. in a single day, others made as much as Radz is worth in that same day. He has to be prudent and I don't blame him at all, wouldn't it be great for Elon Musk to buy us out? https://www.forbes.com/real-time-billionaires/#5d0f634f3d78
I see your Ronnie Peterson and raise you a Jody Scheckter - in 6 wheeler Tyrell obviously. Think Ronnie replaced Jodie at the wheel(s!) of the above.
Sorry you are both incorrect. Neither of those two cars or drivers made me go out and buy First National City Traveller Cheques nor knowingly any product made by Parmalat. The Lotus on the other hand .......
