Just wait and see what happens if Eddie doesn't score. The fickle online warriors will be out in force.
He can't win. He's unlucky Pablos back. If Eddie scores the Bamford lovers can say its because Pablo was on the pitch pulling the strings and Paddy would have done the same. If he fires blanks then he can be castigated and the "Paddy would have put those chances away" brigade can pipe up. I don't give a toss once someone starts finding the effing net before its too late
I don't think there are many supporters left who are blind to Bamfords poor strike rate. I would love to see Eddie score loads of goals, all I'm saying is that there is a lot of pressure being put on the young lad. If Pablo does play I do think he could be the link to set Eddie up. The other thing is that teams are crowding us out in the final third and it makes it harder for us to break them down. We have a great chance in our next two games to pick up 6 points.
Tickets for gold members have been made available in C17 (below the away fans) for the QPR game. Shows again that the club have listened and that membership does now give access to tickets for home games. My advice would be to buy a membership and then get down to ER and support the team.
Acht, it's only a wee bit of water to cross. Think of the fans that would drag themselves over broken glass to get there!
There seems to be a consensus here that Pablo will play #10. And yet Bielsa prefers him on the wing! I suspect Mr Costa might be put in his rightful place - on the bench. He might be disappointed, but the opportunity is there for him to be a good impact sub, and hopefully build his confidence up a bit, as it must surely be flagging by now. I wonder if Roberts might be on #10 duty, as he's looked ok with the limited game time he's had. Ideally, Forshaw could slot in beside Klich, but I have no idea if his injury persists, or even if he could reproduce the form of that early season partnership with Klich.
The Wolves bench preferably. Roberts has the makings of a great #10, so hopefully tomorrow that’s where he’ll be.
I hope Eddie has spent some time on the phone to Ian Wright because as good as the kid is going to be in the future he has never started a game where 35,000 expectant fans are expecting him to score. So far the kid has come off the bench in nothing to lose mode, but now he is expected to deliver and do what Bamford does..... Bielsa will hopefully be a huge source of nouse and hopefully Wrighty can give him the view from someone who has done it at the very top. I'm giving him 20 minutes and if we aint 2 up and Eddie on the scoresheet plus an assist he can fk off back to arse... anyone else think that the expectant huge crowd has affected Lord Paddy, because I believe its got to him
