They’ve only got away with it if they manage to secure forty with the ten point deduction. If they do then fair play to them. Must admit to not giving a fiddlers about all this ffp nonsense. Everton like so many clubs are going nowhere and merely exist in the pl. . Roll on a bit of footie next Friday

If I’m honest I don’t like FFP, let’s face it, it was brought in to protect the big boys and by that I mean the “traditional” big clubs like scum, Liverpool and Arsenal (and the Madrids, Bayern etc. of this world) so they could keep all the champions league money amongst themselves. The pretence that it was to stop clubs from “doing a Leeds” is laughable. All those involved in taking us to the brink and into administration would have passed the owners test and stayed in football after our debacle, Shaun Harvey went on to be head of the EFL ffs. It’s why they are fuming about Man City who have broken up their cabal with their wealth and Chelsea before them. City just have better accountants and cleverer lawyers than Everton. Scum has a billion of debt but nothing happens to them because they are “servicing” it.

You can bet he’s damn well paid too. Never ceases to amaze me how some with such limited ability seem to always land on their feet
