Wonder if Dyche walks into Stoke City and all the cash at their disposal. Been a few years since they were relegated and still below mid-table so need someone else?

Who will want to go to Turf Moor though and all Dyche’s staff have gone too so Academy Director and academy coach take over along with Ben Mee for the WHU game <laugh> yank owner, oh dear. Sack the man that got them into the prem, he got relegated as no cash but bounced straight back up and kept them there every season since. He has the oldest squad in the prem and was capable of escaping this season but would probably have bounced them back up again?

We all know it's too soon to start making judgements on Jesse and my feeling is it will go until the 37th game before we're safe. That's if we are to be safe of course.

If he does keep us up then it's 10/10 for Jesse and 100% the right decision to make the change. What Bielsa may or may not have done only becomes relevant if we're relegated.

However if PL status is retained Jesse then starts from scratch again next season and whichever division we're in he'll need to get off to a solid start. Inevitably though there will be defeats, poor performances, injuries, player unrest and difficult testing times of extreme pressure as there is at all clubs. At those times it will be interesting to see what words of wisdom Jesse offers to the assembled sharks of the UK press, under the pump and with the walls closing in on him my feeling is he will get little sympathy after his interview this week.

    Afternoon all

I don’t know if Bielsa would have kept us up, it’s looking like Marsch might be, he has though had a huge slice of good fortune. If we went down, without a hesitation, without an ounce of second thought I’d jump at the chance of having Bielsa back.

If we stay up, I’d not hesitate in keeping Marsch over Bielsa all irrelevant though. I’ve enjoyed four seasons of not having to sell our best players, at the beginning of this season the thought of losing the likes of Raphinha would have been a depressing thought, now I don’t care.

I just want the season to end, those who are leaving to go and the new faces brought in before preseason training starts. Give Marsch every bit of preseason with the squad he is going to be in charge of and judge him on next season

Huge slice of good fortune? has he really? Sending off at wolves changed the game yeh… offset that against the Leicester game where we deserved the win and lost to their only chance.

All the other results were pretty fair. last minute winner v norwich but deserved the win.

Think your theory on bielsa as a championship manager but not a premiership one is actually a bit of an insult to him to be honest. I get that some coaches are better at optimising limited resources and some are better at handling big names and ego’s, but that can be resolved with correct recruitment. You’re either good enough or not, surely.

I know it’s not the intention but you kind of bracket him with Tony Pauli’s, Steve Bruce and big Sam <cheers>

Wakey we got hammered by some of the top four sides and on their day those sides could have put as many goals past other sides as well. I really can't fathom some of the **** Bielsa is receiving from so called Leeds Utd fans, I don't read the comments on social media from these keyboard warriors, most of them probably haven't even stepped into ER. <grr>

Would the yank have got us up Elland. I couldn't give a **** what my fellow Leeds Utd supporters think on my sentimental thoughts on Bielsa. I will never forget what he did for the club, the city of Leeds, how he improved players. We will never IMO see the likes of him again at this club, well not in my lifetime. <ok>

Asked any Newells old boys supporter and they'll tell you. I personally think he's the clubs third best manager and in my eyes is a legend. <ok>

yeh, I don’t have us as safe yet. I’m hoping to get something at palace to help the buffer, but I think they’re a good side. Could well be squeaky bum time still if other results don’t go our way.

marsch talks a lot, he seems refreshingly open and honest. Maybe too much, and yes it may come back to bite him.

You’re entitled to your opinion of course you are.

In the championship it’s a different class of player, ones who dream of playing in the PL whereas the PL requires a few players who certainly wouldn’t be humble enough for Bielsa. Could Bielsa win the PL with a team YES if he didn’t have the standards and ethos he has set himself. I think Bielsa hates the PL and the money train it has become.

There is also only so far you can take a player, give Bielsa the likes of Salah, Song, Kane, Ronaldinho and De Bruyne he isn’t going to improve them so it comes down to outsmarting the opposition

If Bielsa is made for the PL someone else will certainly be in for him, he isn’t made for it.

Huge slice of good fortune of course he has, it’s not even debatable. Marsch hasn’t had to face the top 6 he’s faced the bottom two and Southampton who are dropping like a lead balloon. He has had players back from injury too.

Norwich 4 minutes of injury time and we snatch a winner, Wolves the red card and another injury time winner, it’s the finest of margins from being 4 points less.

If we do get relegated Marsch won’t get us back up, that’s my strong opinion <ok>
