Brighton are messing up, they should be beating Palace at home not losing to them.

He is exactly what we needed. Such a shame we didn’t get him as I think we’d probably have 6-9 more points.

Totally agree, looked a player when he was at Swansea a couple of years ago but, you can guarantee if he had been our main signing in the summer the usual suspects would have been droning on about tight Rads and our lack of ambition signing someone who had only played in the Championship and for a relegated West Brom..... we don’t want Chelsea rejects or to develop players for other clubs bla, bla, bla.

Haaland and Salah could both be available but will we go for them? Of course we won’t Rads is a skint chancer, Orta should get Football Manager 2022 for his PC like the rest of us then he’d know a player if he saw one :emoticon-0148-yes:

Arsenal signed Tierney from Celtic, Liverpool Robertson from Hull, West Ham Bowen from Hull, Leicester Maddison from (then Championship) Norwich. There are good players to be had out there and I’m happy to trust our scouting system to find them. Bit weird though that I must be the only one that has never seen this Buckley play judging by all the criticism <whistle>

I’ve never seen him either but it doesn’t deny me the right for some light hearted banter about how rubbish he must be <laugh>

I made a post recently saying you can do worse than pick the best talent from the championship every year as West Ham and palace have done recently. So jokes aside, if Buckley were our man, and there’s a belief that he’s the best talent in his position then I’d be fine with it. Few ifs there!

He might well be rubbish but, if he signs, he’s our rubbish.

I’m still hoping Tyler will come good <whistle>

Haven’t you heard? Roberts was on fire before his injury!

might take him 50 games or so to get back to his best though

I've seen Buckley a couple of times this season on the TV. Blackburn are a good side this season.

He is a bit like a poor man's Conor Gallagher. He has loads of energy, works extremely hard, is fairly quick. He actually would suit Bielsaball perfectly. He can spread the ball from side to side too.

My only criticism is whether he can do it in the PL and the fact he doesn't score many goals. We already have plenty of attacking players who don't score enough goals. He would be another one.

He wouldn't be terrible but I'm not as confident about his ability than I was about Conor Gallagher.
