I sit at the table Blono, when I'm not over at a game, I like the hard chair, it helps me drink more. You are perfectly entitled to your opinion and maybe calling Firpo ****e is a bit unfair, but when I've seen him play and I've seen every game he's played(when fit) be it live on TV or at a game, he has looked a bit lost and slow. Granted there have been glimpses of a good player, but so far its been few and far between. Now I will give the lad a chance when he does eventually gets back because I generally rarely like to have ago at players. But I do think we need someone else in that position because we can't rely on players playing out of position, that's what was IMO along with results obviously was Bielsas downfall. As for Rasmas, it's unfair IMO to slate him for that mistake, I thought he was caught off balance more than the Wolves player over powering him. I was at the game pissed as I was and thought he played well and should have got a peno. Anyway like I say Blono, it's all about opinions.<ok>

Here's a little poser for the weekend...

Aston Villa (Gerrard) v Everton (Lampard) ?

Tough one that as they both can't lose.

I'm not questioning Rasmus, he's still getting up to speed with the PL. My point was the constant call for a new LB. Didn't we learn from the Barry Douglas and LDB signings that it's not easy to find a decent LB?
The reason I compared PS to RK was because people said he did ok but he's not a LB. He made more passes than anyone on Saturday, he actually, according to stats, made 2 dribbles too and from the Wolves attacking heat map they attacked more through the middle.
He gives us so many options playing at LB and the more he plays there, the better he'll become, as Dallas did. We also have Hjelde who can cover, then you've got JF coming back so I don't think we need a LB.

The question of us blagging it at LB last week because Struijk had some decent stats, doesnt wash really if Adama Traore was fit. It could have been a bloodbath.

When you put it like that. Regarding Hjelde I always hoped himself and Cresswell would be our future pair of Centre backs. You make some valid points Blono. Actually I thought we got attacked down the wings a lot, although which one I can't remember:biggrin:

Pascal was superb against Wolves blono. Can't argue with that. The problem he will have will be his lack of pace against the speedier wingers. He's fine as a back up but our first choice isn't much better. It's clearly a weak point in the team and it should be strengthened.

There are, have been, better options available. Harry Toffolo from Huddersfield has just gone to Forest for peanuts. Then there is Taylor and Cornet who were available from Burnley. All three are upgrades or competition for Firpo (who is **** btw blono in case you haven't heard today). The lad at Stoke Tymon has had a good couple of seasons and is only 22.

His stats don't say that unfortunately. Who would they have dropped?

He's a big lump that runs fast. His shooting and crossing are woeful. He's like a **** version of Saint-Maximin.
Struijk would have been able to handle him better than an actual LB because he's a big strong CB.

I'm not saying PS is the answer at LB but he did ok on Saturday. Your point about Traore is irrelevant because he didn't play.

Leeds didn’t even put a bid in for that Kali so he clearly wasn’t even on the radar, the asked too much or we want a striker that can play all over.

If Firpo had been fit he could have scored a hatrick, that didn't happen either.

Hi everyone i got back on Tuesday and suddenly felt very tired. So yesterday early evening i took a covid test. It said i was positive which may come as a surprise to some. Basically every joint aches and sore throat and headache. Nothing on my chest so far which is good news.
Left back is a problem and more so than striker. Doubt we will sign a striker.
