    We need to evaluate:

    2 + 3 + 3 × 11

    The last thing to remember is the order of operations. The multiplication takes precedence and is evaluated first to be 33. So we have:

    2 + 3 + 3 × 11
    = 2 + 3 + 33
    = 38

    Thus the correct answer to the puzzle is 38.
