Imagine returning especially for this weekends match, driving home form the airport and stupidly looking forward to having a beer and joining in the debate on here. Well when I checked in at 11pm last night all was dead apart from the match day thread. I could have posted on this thread but the last post was about 5pm and the one previous to that 3pm. Not wishing to converse alone and genuinely excited about the match what better than to join the match day thread anyway. Some of the posts were a little off topic so talking formations or analysis would likely be met with limited response. Probably best way to engage then would be to convey excitement about Sunday's match whilst discussing issues about the match day thread itself and tie it all up neatly with some posts about going to the match itself and possibly meeting up for a beer before/after with fellow match goers. After numerous posts the vast majority of which where about going to the match, it seemed time to have a look in the salon so posted; " Think we will win tomorrow. The lads will be so fired up it will be like the old days " " Anyway I'm off to the Salon as my roots need doing and hopefully Glory will have a weekend special on. If not at least there are usually some knockers to have a look at ". Fairly innocuous stuff but on topic and trying to lure others to the safe haven of the Salon. You won't have been able to read this post nor any of the others as bar one they've been deleted. Including I might add Shak's invitation to the Salters pre match which means others will now be unaware of that possibility. Perhaps some can see why this has sucked all the joy out of posting on this forum. The main reasons for posting is either to give an opinion on all things Leeds including match reviews or to try and bring the semblance of a smile to peoples faces as others do for me. Sometimes this involves a mixture or combination of thoughts in the same post to avoid being perceived as one dimensional or dare I say boring.
