Regarding Phil Haye's points awarded I have listed all the players that averaged 7 and above, so the likes of Halme and Shackelton may have only 4 times each but obviously played well in those games to average above 7. Clarke had a drop in form since the Boro game and still came in with an average 6.7. I believe Phil was showing who contributed consistently so thos on 7 plus obviously did. Our 2 keepers also come in over 6 but each made screw ups which cost us and them. Brown only averaged 4 and so too did Baker. In fairness most of the team scored above 6 and Alioski 6.5 with Harrison 5+. It does clearly show where we need sorting out and the loans were garbage and even though Harrison was used a lot it was because we were short on the left. Our keeper needs consistency and we need to score more goals. Roofe was very slightly ahead of Bamford which is fair but we should have expected more from both. I say that because both were out of action for long periods and Bamford more than Roofe. If we had got another 7 games out of each you would have expected more goals between them and probably a higher points average because we would have won more games. Bamford went from hero to zero in the last month
I'm with Wakey. I understand WJ's points though. The players were at fit as fiddles BUT they lost their intensity, hence we lost half our last 15 games.
I think the problem is that the applecarts we have are too sensitive. They need to man up... or Applecart up.... or something
We must have a lot of these applecarts or some idiot must go around stacking them up again so they can be upset? Or to take up your point about them being too sensitive do we need to fit these applecarts with shock absorbers and stabilisers
