    Looks like Bamfords in.

"This is what Pete O’Rourke has reported today:

“Leeds United have agreed a fee of £6.75million for Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford, Football Insider sources understands.

“Leeds have made their move for Bamford after growing frustrated in their attempts to sign Derby County striker Matej Vydra.

“New Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is keen to bolster his attacking options this summer ahead of the new season and he sees Bamford as someone who is key to his plans as he is proven at this level.

“Bamford won the Championship Player of the Year award during his first spell at Middlesbrough in the 2014/15 season when he scored 17 goals for the club.”

Also looks positive in getting Vydra

"Leeds United are on the verge of finally completing a deal for Matej Vydra, according to a report in The Sun.

The media outlet is claiming that the Whites are ready to complete a £11million deal for the Derby County forward as Marcelo Bielsa continues to try and bring recruits to his squad.

The Argentine manager is thought to have had a striker at the top of his summer wish list and Vydra is believed to be the man he sees an ideal signing as he looks to get his side firing and challenging for a Premier League spot next season."

Sounds Douglas was at ER for his medical.

Not keen on Bamford but Vydra and Bamford together would be pretty special, would certainly spell the end for Hernandez or Saiz as it would erase doubt as to whether Vydra was a 9 or 10.

But.... Weeks of rumours have worn thin, great to see Douglas at ER but Vydra was also spotted and if we can’t offer or won’t offer the money they’re looking for it’s irrelevant

    Douglas bid accepted.

If we can’t afford top players why are we wasting time talking to them in first place. These potential signings only care about money, they are not Leeds fans so either pay the going rate or continue with policy of last decade

Eire, that's how we got into this mess of a situation in the first place, overpaying average players.

But only becaus we had no money. That’s not relevant anymore. We have owners and co owners with deep pockets and they can finance big
Signings without putting club at risk. We can’t relate back to the risdale era all the time cos he was mortgaging and remortgaging

Not a chance without some more physical midfielders.
Alioski, Saiz or Hernandez start regularly and we are still bottom half, also not convinced about our keepers and we need a centre half.
