Leeds United’s Under-23s recorded a sixth home victory out of seven, with a 3-2 victory over Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday. Pawel Cibicki and Jay-Roy Grot who have both featured in the first team started for Carlos Corberan’s side, along with Ouasim Buoy and Bailey Peacock-Farrell. The match started with a bang, as Cibicki eager to impress, made his mark straight away, finding the top corner with a fine strike from the edge of the box inside the first minute, to give Leeds the advantage. United’s lead was doubled less than a minute later, when Jay-Roy Grot found Cibicki in the box and he slotted home his second goal of the match past Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Dan Wallis.
Well at least I'm more informed now should I be tempted( highly doubtful) to enter into a wager with you. For example; Leeds to beat Brentford. Should read...Leeds United FC Ltd a club who play their home matches at Elland Road Stadium versus Brentford FC. The match to take place at such stadium on the date of 24 February in the year of 2018 and to constitute a bonafide fixture in the competition known as the Championship. ' beat ' The term in this instance to mean win the football match. The winner to be determined by which team in accordance with the rules of the FL Competition known as the Championship as administered by the appointed match referee has scored the most goals at the conclusion of the match. Think I'll stick to Bet 365 even though those adds do my flipping head in.
Its frozen not fresh that's why its cheaper and not the same quality Incidentally they brought out a Magpie cookery book forwarded by Brian Turner the lad from Morley .it was so successful that copies were sold on ebay for £90 Suggest you research things before talking utter clap trap
Did you Glory know that the Magpie has 119 staff and is one of the biggest employers in Whitby All its fish is brought to the dock which is situated adjacent to the restaurant My late friend Capt Mike Webster the first man to fly a jumbo into LBA I was fortunate to be on the jump seat told me that the best Fish and Chips were to be found in Califonia .So we went to the Magpie after that he used to drive from his house in Kenley for lunch at the Magpie .He admitted they were the beat I have aWhitby crab starter followed by a large haddock and chips and then a chioce of over 100 sweets all home made
Where does it say the plaice is fresh and I was told by the staff as I have been going 40 years that Quayside cooks from frozen
So let me get this straight. The staff at the magpie told you this? Perhaps Ms Grot would be a bit more independent? Before you start altering the point you said they only serve frozen fish. So any sort of fresh fish served makes you wrong. Ps I said haddock not plaice....
That is what I was told and it does say the cod and plaice are frozen perhaps the haddock is as well I shall ask when I go to the Magpie on May 16
But you said they only serve frozen fish. You were wrong..... Why not ask at the place that clearly states on their menu the only serve fresh haddock. Ps you never take any notice of what I tell you.
Have you seen the reviews and the queues. Why do people queue when they can go to the quayside which is empty The Magpie now has 144 covers which it needs
