My point was that Batty was a side passing player, lets be fair Philips is really only starting his career, give him a chance. Only a blind person or a hidden agenda against the player would not see that under Bielsa that he has blossomed.

Funnily enough Shaks I have on a couple of times started to write the same analogy of batty/Phillips whenever LL starts on his sideways passing rant. Then thought, ah what’s the point.

 

I thought Phillips was terrible when he first came into the side. But you either don’t understand football or have an agenda, if you can’t see the improvement and value he brings to the team.
