Further to that. The games this season we have not played our best he has given us a never say die attitude. So even when the physical side of our game drops the mental does not. This did not happen under TC last season or any manager since probably DOL
cant wait for the next time Karanka or Maclaren or Bruce or Hughes goes for a job and saying he will get them promotion but needs a huge warchest. The replies will be along the lines of 'oh so you're shyte then, look what Bielsa did turning water into wine' or 'so you admit you're pretty crap then which means we can only offer you £60k salary and not the million you expected'.....
Doc you come up with some good ones at times,i bet no ones thought of that, trouble is theirs only one Marcelo so all clubs hands off.
Morning Mike, I remember reading an article written by Dominic Matteo. He recalls coming to Leeds and failing his medical. As he was walking back to the dressing room he bumps into Peter Ridsdale who asks him why he looks so miserable? Matteo told Ridsdale that he had failed his medical. Ridsdale told him that Leeds were investing in his told term future, not the first few months, and nothing has changed. Matteo went on to become an absolute bargain for us!
Morning Leon, yeah loads of pundits are now jumping on the LUFC bandwagon, not just because we are playing well, but all of a sudden Leeds are a fashionable club again!
Morning Gessa, really pleased for Roberts. Even if he doesn't score against Brum, I'd still start with him v the Wendies!
We all talk about great managers,Pep,mourinho,Klop,Pochetino etc,but what's the one thing they all have in common, almost unlimited funds that's what, can afford to buy the best so their teams look the best.BIG QUESTION could they have done what Bielsa has done at Leeds with funds provided,You know what, i wouldn't be surprised if all of them would have struggled.
Morning Milky, Leeds have had 12 Managers in 6 years (not even including the two interim Redfearn appointments. I think both Bielsa and Leeds had something to prove. Morning all. ...just to add to the Bielsa discussion, we've had so many sh**e managers over the years the the law of averages says we were due for a really good one & now we have him..MOT..
