When is it? If I can I would come for a day (working ATM). Might bring the mrs she will drive (would that be frowned on)!! Not looking for any freebies to get in and if it's not sold out would do County stand. Happy to meet you and your mates for a few scoops if that's what you are driving at - you might have to smuggle us into the poshest seats..
They were right though, so you must mean I said it. No way is this threadbare squad not weaker than the millions of talentless ****e we had last year, still talentless but less of them. You are confusing rads creaming the cash with LUFC being better better.
Here we go again>>>>>>>>>>> www.wikipedia.com Are you sure they arn''t just changing the players lunch in the canteen from rice to polenta to save Rad a few more quid?.
I don't know enough yet to judge if we're in safe hands, but I am very encouraged by what I've witnessed in the first 2 games. This guy is trying to implement a variation of total football, and if successful, who knows what the future will bring. I do not anticipate success this season, and will be happy with mid-table if that's what it takes for the squad to develop. I'm one of the few that overall enjoyed last season. Yes, loads of disappointments, but boy, we were breathtaking some games, and it's been a while since I've seen us play so well. Sadly, the wheels came off, but who knows why that happened? We'll never know. Earlier in the close season I responded well to the suggestion of us signing Huth. Now that I've seen us play, I can tell you now that he'd never fit in. I can't ever remember him running through the middle to start an attack, and can't even imagine it. In fact, I shudder to think what Pontus is going to be like if he tries it. He's tried before & often follows the same pattern - starts run, knocks ball too far in front of him, opposition gets ball, Pontus goes in hard as he's left us really vulnerable (or through embarrassment, or both), Pontus gets yellow. He didn't go forward very much last season, but I reckon he got about 10-12 yellows the previous season for exactly that. Again, some people are getting carried away & EXPECTING promotion (not just on here - it's worse elsewhere). Jaysus, will they never learn?
Good afternoon Matt and co from a very dull Bardsey where we are expecting rain this afternoon We still can get Marriot and Madison but I have no faith in Kinear and no confidence either. We only get players that no one else wants .Now we realise this and can't get rid of them The Urugyan you mentioned Matt has said he will not be coming to Leeds so lets not waste anymore time on him The young lad from Cheltenham has Pompey and Sunderland after him so they will out bid us no doubt.Last year I suggested Olly Watkins we hummed and made a few noises but Brentford got him for what we paid for Sacko now he is valued at£15m Ita about time all 4 people got round a table and agreed a strategy and stuck to it we are a laughing stock Matt please alter your heading to July not June
You only put me on ignore because you have started agreeing with me... and didn't want to see me pointing it out. GWR
BREAKING NEWS Leeds United have reportedly opened talks to bring Kasimpasa's Super Lig striker Mbaye Diagne to the Championship. New reports from Turkish Football are now claiming that Leeds have turned their attention to another unknown import. It is understood that they are in talks with Kasimpasa’s Senegalese striker Mbaye Diagne. please log in to view this image ( Mbaye Diagne is on the far right) Though the 26-year-old scored an impressive 12 goals in 17 games since arriving in Turkey from China in January, his signing would be hugely uninspiring considering that both Vydra and Hernandez look to have slipped through the net.
Wed-Sat last week of August I think. Would be a pleasure to meet your better half if you're both able to make it. Have used up all my freebies for this season by getting a couple of comps for the Ledger meeting (ladies day). So if you fancy venturing further afield in September you are more than welcome to join. Plus it's nearer for the southern one.
Leeds United as a club are in the best position they have been since relegation from the PL and arguably even since pre Ridsdale. The team on the other hand is a work in progress and sometimes to progress you have to endure a period of uncertainty whilst the change of strategy takes time to bear fruit.
