The name however does ring a bell, but I always go back to John Morgan as sports writer at YEP, who was recently lauded by Michael Parkinson, John Helm, Dickie Davies and Martyn Tyler all of which worked at some stage at the YEP. yep John Morgan that's him. Waterhouse was a news columnist that was also far better than anything they have now.

Chips have been to a few of Morgans 'Sporting Dinners' which he usually had at The Queens Hotel. Great nights as he was a good raconteur and always had a top guest list. Seen Revie walk out presenting his winning team and the cup, Geoff Boycott taking the pee out of Trueman, happy days.
