Hi ristac. ..the windy place you're thinking of is probably fuertaventura, puerto rico is the place where the hotels are built into the steep valley sides
It's a bloody disgrace Leeds60, Radz has deceived fans with his lies in order to boost up ticket-sales. I've never trusted him from day one, the current transfer window has proven my thoughts on our chairman. Even though it's been a decent window the fact remains we have spent £3m net. Cellino bought Chris Wood for £3m & he supposedly wasn't in the same league financially as our current affluent boss. I detest dishonesty & liars in life so why should I join the love-in & admire Radz ?
Bielsa is the most important appointment of the summer No way would we paying Bamford £32k a week & I assume Chelsea are paying the bulk of Blackman/Baker salaries
Both Bristol City & Middlesbro' have lost three big players from their squads Wouldn't be surprised if the likes Bristol C, Brentford & Preston have made some shrewd signings as they generally do
Any all white kits from the 60/70's I don't usually go a bundle on gimmick type of things however I really loved the 70's stocking tabs I use to buy the shirts until the Bates era when football became more expensive paying £550 in the kop to watch championship & League One football. Also from 2005 I was in a position to go to every home & away game so something had to give financially. Only top I've bought in the last twelve years was a blue collared top with white amblets & badge. I've worn it for most of the games over the last two seasons. Wore a cooler Crew t-shirt for the game v Stoke, far better quality than much of the merchandise in the club shop
Bielsa allegedly on £2m and he has a big team so presumably that’s a lot of dosh. Plus we don’t know what the loan players(and hopefully another one or two there) are costing But it all comes down to how we do, if we are 13th again we can be outraged, if we go up auto then he’s spent enough - time will tell
where did you get the shirt from bud.i think most of the club stuff is poor too and way way over priced.the new body fit is a case in point £65 i think.
every season one or two clubs get off to a flyer.last season it was sheff utd and bristol.think brentford will do well this time.
got to say i am underwhelmed by this transfer wind.it went off like a cheap firework all show and a few cheap surprises (loanees).douglass was a starburst followed by the big ending "Bamford".then that was it show over and a lot of dissapointed fans. did i expect more ? yes i did.have we spent a lot ? no not at all. not happy with the investement and unless BPF suddenly gets more agile and quicker getting down to shots all we have is the loanee from Chelski. not happy with the centre back situation as calamity Cooper is not the answer .i was looking for a statement from the club and once again we have fallen short. Alioski is not fast and is not for me.midfield we are woefully short of class and i hoped for better but been let down again.
I bought the top in the club shop because the quality of the material was much better than the official kits & apart from the badge it had no sponsors name or logo all over the shirt. I actually quite like the new shirt although £50 to look like a circuit diagram is probably not my style
A quality CB was a must & don't get me started about Alioski, hopefully the Harrison kid will oust him out of the first team
