Most of them who you call dross are young players who haven't reached their peak yet.You would have sold Wood for £50,000 at the end of his first season.Sam Volkes couldn't score when he was young at Leeds on loan,23 year old Vardy would still be at Fleetwood if you had been Leicester manager.
Not true sadly, they have a charge against the club for 17 million (being serviced) but the terms were it needed to be paid in full before any decision that could increase the asset value of Leeds United. Radz got round that by using one of his other companies to buy back ER.
Great to see so many posts today especially after such a disappointing performance last night. Seems the popular opinion is now against Radz which personally I think is harsh as well as wrong. He's on an extremely fast learning curve but I believe he will get it right but of course will need time and patience. As I mentioned in an earlier post now is the time for him show strength as an owner. To me that means publicly stating that those that have underperformed will be leaving or if they wish to remain will be outside the first team squad. Then to the ones that are staying to be part of a stronger better squad for next season the message must be clear and unequivocal. You have signed contracts and you will be held to those contracts until they are approaching the final 12 months at which point the club will be more than happy to discuss possible contract re-newal or otherwise. Do not entertain any thought about leaving because all offers will be refused. If he doesn't take charge and show real leadership then he will fail and the buck stops with him. There is absolutely no hiding place as the owner of LUFC and his reputation is now indelibly linked to our success or otherwise.
