We stayed top for a long time when we weren't doing well and the same thing happened in League one...wouldn't call us unlucky either. Over the whole season the best two teams will go up and one of them will be us.
Err no, I'm the kind of person who has Jews as grandparents. I'm also the kind of person who understands science. This is just basic string theory.
I am actually.

It wasn't pre-determined,it all depend on the strenght of the gust of wind and it's direction to the change the direction of the beach ball.
So those stereotypes of Jews on family guy are true afterall. You are probably very intelligent aswell,am I right?![]()

I'm not gonna argue with a Jew,they are too smart...I think luck exists anyways. That's exactly what I mean. There was a series of events which led to the beach ball being there in the stadium, and there was a separate series of events which created the gust of wind. These "strings" of events then came together and caused the event of the beach ball blowing onto the pitch. That's not luck, it's just something we can't see coming.
Fair enough you have your therory's and **** but who gives a ****, is it really worth starting an arguement over a phrase/word. Clearly WHU have gotten LUCKY, no doubt about it...
This thread is in danger of becoming a quasi-philosophical pseudo-scientific debate. Therefore I will simply quote Gary Player - "The more I practice, the luckier I get".
Good quote, so long as you understand the implied irony behind it which supports my view.
I'll shut up now.
How many times have results gone your way in the last few months? West Ham aren't the only lucky team in the league.
No, there isn't. It's a concept invented by people to describe an event which appears to be out of anyone's control and seems fortuitous, but in reality is the product of a series of events just like everything else; just a series of events which we've been unable to detect due to our limited capacities as physical beings.
Not many...care to name a few because i cant?
