So do as I say not as I do?? I took a day off and got home at just before 3am so I could attend the match Maybe you should show a little more commitment yourself before slagging off other clubs' supporters?
**** off super fan. I travel over 5000 miles a year just getting to home games We've played plenty of clubs from up and down the country in midweek fixtures and most bring more than the handful you did. Reminiscent of Fulham.
Can't believe what I'm reading, the "lack of away banter" brought up as one of the reasons the Everton fans were so terrible and quiet Look, we've won 2 out of the last 40 away PL games, playing a Monday night fixture in Merseyside with no trains back after the game, AND the match itself was on sky. Can you really blame us for not bringing many?
Ooh internet hard man Pipe down f**wit I'm off anyway shame about the handful of bell ends, most of you lot are sound
My uncle is an Everton fan, a season ticket holder and travels from London every game. He was there last night. Fair play to your traveling as I know how hard it is. What I would point out is that, your slagging an atmosphere you didn't even experience first hand cos you weren't there. Kinda makes your opinion of last nights atmosphere weak. Your commenting on something you didn't see/hear first hand. Your not a tabloid football journalist by any chance are you? They have a habit of doing that, talking s**t about something they no little about and then filling in blanks. Edit: It may be subtle but I'd say that is a criticism of the atmosphere. (I met to bold it before posting.)
Care to pout out where exactly I slagged off the atmosphere? Thanks in advance. My comments about last night were based on the TV and my weekly experience of Goodison and how it can be at times.
Not sure why we're giving Tobes such a hard time. All he did was say he thought we'd take more than 350 fans (if Fulham did that we'd be taking the piss endlessly) and that Goodison has a flat atmosphere, needs away fans to boost it. As far as I can see only Stortford on this thread got off his arse to go (and by his own admission he's certifiable), so we're all in the same boat I reckon. Everton fans are pretty rare on this forum, endangered species. We hardly ever get fans of other clubs on this board now (except Leicester when they are winning) used to be one of the more fun bits of the place. I'm sure he can look after himself though.
That doesn't mention the atmosphere, it mentions the turnout. Thanks for confirming that I said nothing of the sort Tabloid journalist indeed
To be fair to Tobes he probably just wants the last word on this thread As do I - mods lock it now hehe!
Well he obviously doesn't get what the word subtle means and his arguing of symantics just goes to show his mind set. It pretty clear what I meant and the added reference to Fulham was no doubt meant as bait to annoy us.
There was no subtlety to your post, merely an inaccurate summation of what I actually said, which you subsequently can't back up with anything, so you're claiming semantics being used , shame you can't even spell it. Which tabloid was it again?
Charming, I'm sure your esteemed countryman Christy Brown would've had something to say about that extremely old fashioned insult. Put your left foot in it there, sunshine.
