I think we have to have Furlong as backup at the moment and use him in easier games, with a potential of starting in those games. But I absolutely agree on the Konchesky/Kpekawa thing. Kpekawa surely would have done at least as well as Konchesky in terms of defending, as Konchesky didn't really do that well. And Kpekawa would definitely have gotten forward more effectively than Konchesky as he's got pace and has quite a good little left footed cross. I'd like Kpekawa to start in every game with Konchesky on the bench to take over if Kpekawa crumbles at any point (which I don't expect will happen).
