Difficult to find an argument with the commentary until the Yank prick said Nigel Farage would make a great Mayor of London It is a shame the likes of Sadiq Khan and Jeremy Corbyn can't look past the usual calls of racism/stereotyping/profiling etc when it comes to violent crime in London. "I just got mugged by a black man" "You are racist, the fact that you felt the need to mention the persons skin colour means you are at the very least an institutionalised racist because saying he was black leads others to think that the only reason the crime was committed was because he was black and you are intimating that all black men are criminals" "But I got mugged at knife-point by someone who was most certainly black" "All you need to say is that you got mugged, the alleged attacker's colour has nothing whatsoever to do with it and by mentioning it you are perpetuating the negativity those in the Black Community have to face every day because of racists like you" "What are you going to do about me getting mugged?" "Send you on a race awareness course, we'll text you the details" "But the black man took my phone" "Racist!"
Of course not, it is merely fictitious and fabricated, designed to highlight the way some people approach any issues involving BEMs and criminality in general. Journalistic licence and all that although it was obviously written well enough for some people to believe it. I expect my Pulitzer in the post any day now. If you'd like to do a bit of journalistic investigation of your own try listening to BBC London Radio and hear the newscasters falling over themselves trying not to say "black" when they describe someone the Police are looking for in connection to a shooting/stabbing/acid attack. Whenever you hear of an "incident" in Harlesden/Tottenham/Clapton/Edmonton/Forest Green etc it I'd have a pound to a penny it is somebody dark being f.ucked up by somebody else who is also dark. The only time I am ever surprised is if it isn't someone black, there is absolutely no shock any more to hear about Shayquandique being chibbed by Osufanololo outside of a chicken shop. But slavery, obviously.
I am sure there will be but what other options are there unless you broaden the narrative beyond the obvious name calling? If you say black people are more likely to be involved in scooter muggings/stabbings/acid attacks etc you get called a racist despite this being supported by actual facts. It is bleeding obvious not all black people are criminals, I really don't need to be told this by the SJW brigade, but where is the dialogue from The Community addressing these issues? I got a message the other day asking the Bredren Dem on our WhatsApp group not to post negative images or videos of black people as it perpetuates stereotypes. The same guy's very next post was of a lady of colour shaking her massive "booty" around to Reggae music, obviously this sort of stereotype isn't an issue. Sadly as a honky any opinion I have is instantly dismissed but I see very little in the way of acknowledgment that there is even a problem with black youths being responsible for the majority of this sort of crime. Instead of any meaningful dialogue all you get back is "most *****s are white, most bank robbers are white, most bank fraudsters are white and you don't do anything about them" as if this is meant to be relevant when discussing violent street crimes in London. I wouldn't want to have acid thrown in my face to then be told Prince Junior Deashawne Mohammad-Jones had it rough as a kid so it isn't his fault at all and it is actually Society who is to blame. Too many heads buried in the sand or busy looking the other way but ready to riot if the Five-O pop a cap in some gangsta's noggin.
We have stop and search here. If they're looking for dissident republicans then of course they're going to target Taigs.
Do people still steal car stereos? I had a graphic equalizer nicked from my car about 30 years ago. They left all my tapes though which at first I was pleased about but then realized it was because the thieves probably thought I had sh.it taste in music.
