I was watching Poland v Ukraine on Polish telly , at half time the adverts came on and all the actors were white Polish people. The level of indoctrination on UK adverts has ramped up over the last few years . If you had never been to Britain you would think that the only white people are old or in successful relationships with black people

The irony with Idris Elba is that he appeared in Luther, which was one of the few great programmes on British television to have had a black lead and which didn't resort to identity politics. Then again, he's become gradually more like the character since his partner birthed another man's child.
