how many breweris are there in shropshire. i will start off withe ones i know of. six bells , 3 tuns, hobsons, ludlow, a pub at corfton?, salopian, woods, joules, there are others, any takers. we should finish up with the total. and no peeking in the fiction department, housing the good beer guide.
Stonehouse, Rowton, Clun, Dickensian, Ironbridge, Lions Tail, Offas Dyke, Shires. Plus cofton is Corvedale. Dickensian is in roden I think and does some lovely ale. Rowton is near ellerdine and again does good beer plus uses own farm produced organic grains.
(Jack) Hanby Ales went bust and became Wem Brewery but i think that wrnt too. If I remember rightly jack hanbys co worker set up Dickensian Brewery.
that takes some doing for a brewery to go bust. have you been in the railway recently?, give my love to liz!
Salopian Brewery have put their premises up to let and are looking at moving to a bigger site to help increase production. On an aside they often use Bath Ales to bottle their beers for them, I guess they might look at bottling them in town instead too?
ay up chris gashead, sorry for the lack of banter, but like you we have had a few relegation worries. but well done gas for a great recovery recently. the big question now is will driscoll take city down your way, next season.
New ground will be built as soon as Sainsbury's sign their paperwork, which will hopefully be very soon The actual build of both the ground and the new Sainsbury's have been approved so it is literally paperwork we are waiting for now, and all will be ready for June I believe Matster, you better beat city otherwise I may have to camp on your board and give you loads of stick for a few months AJ I think City could do ok next season. Don't think they will either go up or down to be honest, so hopefully we can get promoted, and compete with each other....We WILL be the biggest team in Bristol, in due course
i notice b and a have withdrawn their guest facility, after many objections. i still think knockin shop was one of the best.

you were lucky to get served. we are closed for a month while a new roof is put on. draughty was it? good luck to the wobblers this season.
typical no one to serve a pint i guess i will serve myself again..............i wish my local was like that
thankfully the roof is back on, and all facilities are available. a pint of bathams best please. I hear the gas have had a wage cap imposed. do hope they stay up. players pissy on 20 quid a week again. I assume there will be jelly on the plate again for the wobblers. I suspect Bristol titty and wolves will provide 6 points each for town there has been a collection for impoverished gas players and a loggerheads club cheque for £3.41 is on it's way to the gas players welfare fund, increasing the grand total to £47.66. I understand a food bank is in great use in the home changing rooms. pip pip!
