OK, put even more basically then: Notice the words I've highlighted above. You say Danns was good against Chelsea. I would counter that by saying he was **** against Burton. You said that Danns is good enough for the Prem, presumably based on his performance against Chelsea. I could say he's shown me he's not even League Two quality, because of his performance against Burton. But I won't, because judging on one performance is very silly (note: both of the suggestions in this paragraph are silly). I know I said puppets next time, but I hope you're not too disappointed. WTF? How old are you again? "Growing old is compulsory; growing up is optional." I guess you opted out.
you really should have taken the board name LestaCliche it's far more apposite and I've no need for puppets, I've got a muppet on demand! ... still maintaining there was no contradiction in that post? ... thought so. Suspect you have never been beaten in an argument in your life (in Gangsta world). No man can hold back time Gangsta, that is indeed predictable ... equally predictable is that whenever I post an opinion on here the clock starts running for you to disagree and then to start pontificating to all as to why you are 'clearly' right ... at least I find you amusing - 'clearly' not reciprocated because you get all hissy if I counter ... you're like a child who can only show it's love for his dad by criticising the old man at every opportunity... never mind, rest assured kiddo, I still love you!
Not to me AKCJ ... I'm not bothered whether people agree or disagree with me ... neither do I care whether I'm 'liked or not -that's getting old for you ... on thing for sure... I'l just keep putting it out there - it's what a forum's for.
Right to conclude The most important man in all of this (Nigel Pearson) doesnt want Danns anywhere near our team and its extremely unlikely that will change
Have seen a few comments about 'massive ego'. No-one at our club has a bigger ego than our manager. Personally dont have a problem with egos providing they consistently do their very best for the club. Personally haven't seen an ego issue with Danns, just an inconsistency in performance. Same can be said for just about the rest of the staff at the club, including the manager, and have only really seen consistency from Morgan, Shmike, and more recently Liam Moore. It is the inconsistency that worries me a great deal more. If scouts came to watch people like De Laet, James, King, Nugent, Wood or Knockaert one match - they may report that there is a lot of ability/potential. Come to the next game they would send a report back that would simply say 'Forget it'. The club needs to breed consistency, cos we have players all over the pitch who have massive potential (including Danns - my opinion) instead of what we have seen. This is down to everybody at the club including us, the fans. It is blatantly obvious that there is some division at the club, which is why in my opinion we have a Director of Football appointed. It feels to me that not everyone at the club is pulling in the same direction, and I haven't had that feeling since the days of Martin O'Neill, Jimmy Bloomfield and Matt Gillies (maybe Jock Wallace as well). Is this down to the manager, the directors, or individual players. We all have different opinions on that and should be free to express those opinions without being labelled negative etc.
No. I was just helpfully trying to clarify my post but I see I was wasting my time. And don't worry, I won't be responding to any posts that aren't about football.
