Thank you for two paragraphs that point out that my thoughts / comments on Neil Danns are only my opinion ... although you might have saved yourself (and everyone else) some time by focusing on "Neil Danns, in my opinion, when fully motivated ... " ... hey ho .
Good on her, far too much time spent on gaming nowadays. You wouldn't find me sat in front of a screen all day...
You can tell. Perhaps you should try something a little more challenging, or try a book, I can recommend Russ Litten's 'Scream If You Want To Go Faster'(set over a weekend of Hull Fair, with the added benefit of learning to speak 'ullish), or AP Wolf's 'Vagabond'(set in Singapore during the 60's, it's about a lad from a military family with two dogs called Rape and Pillage and a cat called ****bag). I'd be particularly grateful if anyone tried the latter option, as I published it and I'm still sat on about 5,000 copies.
I think there is a clue in the posting ... ... more seriously, are you in the publishing game then OLM?
Perhaps you should read it before attempting a review. I'm not normally, but I have a friend who is and he ran into a spot of bother, so I said I'd help him out by funding a new book. I'd already read the book and liked it(it was first published in the late 80's), so we tracked down the author and he agreed to a reprint. I was hoping he'd agree to writing another book, the first is crying out for a sequel, there's several aspects that leave you hanging. It would make a great film. It's not been out long and it's actually doing far better in Singapore than it is here.
,,, currently attempting to write a novel myself (not on here ) ... will drop you a line if I ever finish it
I'll look forward to it, I started one a while back, but I've not got the patience. If anyone fancies a read(less than a tenner and reviews so far of 4.7 out of 5)... please log in to view this image http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vagabond-A-P-Wolf/dp/1903110440

In your post, you said Danns has shown you enough to convince you he's good enough for the Prem. The point of my two paragraph response was to challenge this. Opinions have to be based on something and not pulled out of the air, hence the potted background on Danns, which is anything but convincing. To put it less diplomatically, as you seem to desire, and to paraphrase someone else in this thread: "Filberto, what you on mate?".
Gangsta, Gangsta ... you do make me smile ... I make the point that I think Neil Danns is a very good player on his day which you feel the need to counter (which is absolutely fine by the way) but in doing so state that you have never seen anything "EVER" to support my view - I therefore ask whether you saw the games against Derby and Chelsea which were televised during a spell which was a bit of a purple patch for Danns (quoting these games in case you weren't at any of the others around that time that weren't televised) - instead of perhaps conceding that he was playing very well around that period you respond with arguably the most self contradictory paragraph I've seen on here but which, I must admit, had me chuckling in wry amusement - to quote: "If you're judging by his performance against Chelsea, then that is just one match. I would counter that by saying he was awful against League Two Burton. So I could say he's shown me he's not even League Two quality. But I won't, because judging on one performance is very silly." ermmm ... but you just did ... silly you As I recall it, at the end of the season that I referred to, many of us on here were quite optimistic about the coming season, not least because of the perceived quality down the spine of the team of Schmeichel, Morgan and Danns ... unfortunately at that time we were not aware of the deep divide in the camp and that Danns fell into the Mills and Beckford 'cronies' brigade ... ... but it's all about opinions.
