Keep Catts and hendo, lika has already been mentioned we have such a paper thin squad, and with Bruce saying he wants 8 players anyway, making it 10 players would just seem ridiculous. I was disappointed in both players last term, but there is no doubting their potential, if they can stay fit. Palacios is a decent player in my view, but is he that much better than Catts, when he is fully fit? Reo Coker is another one who has totally failed in his 5 years at Villa and I don't know why we would go for him unless its because he is free, but I think he too would want to play every week and I can't see that happening if everyone is fit. As for Wes Brown, like all signings, they have my support when they come, but I don't really rate him. He only plays about 10 games a season and you have to question someones hunger when they're happy to sit on a bench for 10 years or more, when at any point he could have gone elsewhere and proved he could rise to the challenge. But no, he was happy to be a bit part player. So for me his professional hunger does not impress me. The summer is a funny time, because about a hundred players will be linked to us, and only 6-8 will sign. So it feels weird to talk about players who probably won't be at Sunderland. Still makes for interesting crack though.
