    Was this when English teams were banned from Europe,so they didn't enter the European Cup (Champions League as is)?

    Heysel was in 1985. Everton won the league 84-85 but were banned from the 86 European cup.

    But the sequence is league winners 1985 to 1990, Everton won the cup winners cup in the same year they won the league 1985. The Europe ban didn't start until after that season.

    ok PM, you win. The sequence is the teams banned from the European cup from 1985/86 season (the ban started after Heysel in May 1985)

    I see what you mean, yes, those teams were all banned. I get it now. they all won the league but couldn't play in the European cup. Not fair on a lot of players that ruling, and most fans as well while I'm at it!

    Blast I looked at that as well, I read it as Fulham being the oldest event reading it left to right, instead as you intended right to left. Is the latest one to be read right to left or the more conventional left to right Devo? <whistle>
