We scored more than once for the first time in ages and still got done. Lambert's post match from Saturday was bizarre, with him going on about being sacked or leaving and he is yet to come out for his post match today. Perhaps he is going to walk out on us, he's not exactly the most loyal, having dropped Colchester for Norwich easy enough and then switching to Villa after so much success with the budgies.
We have Sean Raggett, a 6' 8" tall centre half on a season long loan from Norwich, brought in to replace the brilliant Matt Clarke who we reluctantly sold to Brighton in the Summer. You can expect at least one mistake a game from him, so no surprise when after 35 minutes of total domination by us, he decides to head the ball back to our keeper, but instead the ball goes straight to one of their players who scores. It all went downhill from there onwards !! If we are serious about trying to get promotion this season, then our owners must look to sign another decent defender to replace him, as our defence is too weak at the moment, especially away from home.
