Maybe not on this thread, but I've heard numerous times elsewhere.

 

We knew this ages ago we were in talks with him from practically day 1 of the transfer window.

 

Yeah, but we all thought he was either holding out for a PL team or going to stay with Donny til the summer as a thank you to their fans for the support when his kid died.

I wonder if the not wanting to disrupt his family that he told you was a case of thinking that staying where they were would be good support through that, but they've since found things are just acting as constant reminders so they want to move away and make a fresh start to things.

 

I have no hard feeling towards Sharp and now Beckford has sorted himself out i dont need him plus we signed Nathan Delfouneso

But the media made a big thing about location thats why you thought you would go for him and then he signs for Southampton
