    I agree, Robbie, mate.

Sentiment of the kind that the media hacks are now trying to squeeze out of this story, in their efforts to make the LCFC board the villains in this pantomime would never be tolerated in any other multi-million pound business, so why should it be tolerated in football?

You know, Roofie, once upon a time, this word would have been the trigger for me to party! What a card that old HIAG was!

    Not me.

I'm loving the debate. It's been so long since I engaged you lads in debate, that I had forgotten how good it feels.

So Leicester sack the most successful manager in their history. Which is to be expected in a game where loyalty is an utterly alien concept. You have to wonder, though, how that will go down with those players who turned down big money moves out of loyalty to the club.

Good point , not exactly a moral and confidence builder , no matter who comes in .

To be fair, the players are a ****ing disgrace, like Chelsea last year but much worse.

Though I can understand the owners position (though I disagree, should of had the season imo), the timing is horrendous.

    Why now?

They came out and very publically backed him what, 2 weeks ago? Should of let him have 2nd leg at minimum.

Unbelievable really, modern football for you I suppose.

People seem to be missing the point of how **** Leicester currently are.

The idea of keeping a manager who has lost the dressing room because of sentiment is not wise.

It's business. High end, big money stuff where there is no room for sentiment.

Half the opinions on here I suspect would change if it was their club facing the drop.

To be fair mate we got slated for sacking Adkins and he didn't win us the league... only to be expected.

For the record, if it was Saints, I'd have wanted him to have season.

    I hope they go down.

I think it was time for a change. Relegation would be a disaster with them now having quite a large wage bill. They had to shuffle their pack, they haven't scored a league goal since the turn of the year. Last season was a triumph for them but it matters not now.

I agree with you about the timing though. It's bizarre, they're in with a shout going into the second leg v Sevilla. At least let him see out the tie

    I don't know. That's another debate really.

Almost like they were expecting to get hammered last night and would have fired him after the wave of negativity which would have followed.

Agree and disagree, they do look ****ing poor. But who are they going to get in?

And what if they go down anyway? Will be even worse then imo.

Could have had 2 full weeks for the new guy , something strange IMO about this sacking . Bit like when we sacked Laudrup , when he had us still in the final 16 of Europa and still in the 5 round of the FA Cup , after winning the League cup in the Previous season . Personally , I think in both cases it was personal and not tactical.

Sorry Skylarker, nothing personal but that is bollocks!

I'd take winning a title and getting relegated the next year. I suspect fans of most teams would. The sad thing is that I doubt it will ever happen again for a team outside of the big boys.
