    Exactly.

He's on a massive ego trip because they won the league, congrats an all that, but the reality is his team have totally downed tools to the point of embarrassment.

But he'll always revert to history (something I'm not allowed to mention for some reason).

Bod is a glory hunter. Lesta fan last season, Chelsea fan this season. Bit like Matth with Man Utd/Chelsea.

  3. I think he would have flopped where ever he went, just as he has at LCFC.

You guys still don't get it. Last season was a fluke. The reason why we know it was a fluke is because LCFC are so utterly ****e this season, with no coherence throughout the team, and all their key players struggling to maintain any kind of Prem quality. They look more and more like a Championship side in the making.

Arsenal will look at Wenger now and consider that he dodged a bullet, I suspect.

Yes.... because Kleberson scored the majority of the goals in that world cup win, and was voted player of the tournament by either the writers or his fellow professionals as I recall <doh> ... have a word with yourself <laugh> ... you'll be claiming that Matt Le Tiss was more than just an average club player and Peter Beardsley's uglier bigger brother next <whistle>

PS ... would Vardy's tackle on Virgil van Dijk have coloured your current mood perchance? :bandit:

Don't be silly Quentin ... it's just your opinion which is obviously flawed by being restricted to television highlights and the BBC's Daily Gossip Column ... a motivated Vardy getting chances created by a superb Arsenal misdfield would far more likely (IMHO - but based on watching him live and a far broader news spectrum than the BBC's Daily Gossip Column) have had a similar effect in improving Arsenal's title hopes to that which Kante has obviously had at Chelsea ....proven title winners bring an extra siomething to a title challenge having dne it before ... as Robert Huth proved with us last season.

  6. In other words, last season was a fluke.

    That is a fact.

Whether or not I am "bitter" about LCFC having won the title or not, does not alter that fact.

For the record - and let me make this as clear as I can - I think it is great that a club like LCFC can win the title. It does happen once in a blue moon (see Blackburn), and I would like to see it happen a lot more often. But there is absolutely no escaping the fact that the rarity of the occurrence amply demonstrates that when it does happen it is a fluke.

I would have been more surprised if LCFC had managed to replicate any measure of the success that they had last season, say, by finishing in the top 6.

If you really think Le Tiss was no more than average ( <doh> ), then there's really no point discussing anything with you to be honest mate as I can't take you seriously. <ok>

Don't think that's Saints bias either, reckon most on here would agree.

You could do with a Le Tiss now... might save you from the drop <whistle>

As for your last sentence then no. I said last season and in the Summer that Vardy is no more than a decent player having the year of his life.

I've also always thought he's a bit of a **** going back a couple of years now... that just reinforced my view. He could of least did the same to Ibra ffs!

Fair points ... and I was a big Le Tiss fan ... he suffered (unfairly) for not being at a 'big club' in my view ... would always have been one of the first names in my 'England teams' <laugh>

PS for an outlay of £1 million, what Vardy helped to give us is priceless <ok>

There were more than two, John but I ain't no snitch so won't name the culprits :emoticon-0103-cool:

What got a lot of Spurs fans riled up was just the general nonsense being spouted, we honestly don't mind opposition fans popping over to WUM providing they've got a bit of banter, that's part and parcel of football fans but your lot were just managing to bore a large number to death.

Even on the day and immediate days after you lot winning the title they were still commenting on our board with absolute drivel. I mean ****, if Spurs had won the league I'd have done so much Charlie/ green/ Mandy and whatever else I could have got my hands on along with consuming the absolute max amount of alcohol my body could take that the last thing on my mind would be to log into Not606 and post "yippee/ woohoo" comments on another team's board.

Don't be silly Quentin ... 47 consecutive Premier League games with the biggest points haul of any team in the Premier league is no fluke ... it's how you win a title ... Spurs should try it ... oh wait ... you did try ... and finished 3rd in a two horse race <rofl> ... still at least you acheived the title of "The New Invincibles" this season eh? ... Spurs fans can dine out on that for ...errrr ...years?

You're right, John, to assume that the main culprits were AKCJ and Fosse.

As Sky says, this board is all about Wumming, so we should all know the 'rules'. If you're team is doing **** you're going to get some, and if you've been giving it back when you were doing really well, then you're really going to get some.

Just the way it works on here...

  13. Bodi, you have this all wrong, mate.

Yes, LCFC did something amazing, last season. So amazing, that not only they, but no other little club that has been newly promoted from the Championship is likely to do it again for a very, very long time. IT WAS AMAZING!

There, see? Us Spurs fans know and recognise how amazing LCFC's feat was.

But where was all the praise for Spurs having an amazing season, too? Where was the praise for Spurs having pushed LCFC hard for the title, for most of that season? Where was the praise for Kane emerging as the Prems best striker, for the second season running? I'll give you a clue, Bodi... there wasn't any, and certainly not from foxes. Instead, we had to suffer taunts, such as "you came third in a two-horse race!" and other such nonsense.

Now, it's all well and good giving it large when you are on top, but you had better hope to God that you don't bomb, or otherwise be prepared to get back every ounce of **** that you dished out. That is exactly what you are now seeing from the Spurs lads to the LCFC lads. It isn't bitterness (please grow up, Bod!), it is revenge.

    So, to summarize.

Spurs fans recognised that what LCFC achieved last season was amazing.

Spurs fans are throwing back all of the **** at the foxes that they dished out last season.

No bitterness, that is simply how it operates on this board.

Sorry Fosse. Vardy is showing what a 1 season wonder he was in the PL. This season, he's been bottling chance after chance that he's been getting (minus the game against City). He's basically the English Papiss Cisse

    <rose><rose>
    Sympathy post for Quentin <rose>

Above roughly translates as "Please don't call me out for being a bitter and poor loser in front of people Bod,... how could you embarrass me further? ... isn't it enough that I have self esteem issues AND support Spurs? ..."mate" ..eh ... "mate" ."

I'd drop him right now Bobby as I've said ... but I don't necessarily agree that he is finished or was a one season wonder... I do think he has become complacent and perhaps 'comfortable' ... hoping the slagging (and possible benching) will get a reaction.

    Right, so there it is.
Spurs had a very good season, but because Leicester stole the limelight, Spurs fans are pissed.

Sorry, but Leicester finishing 1st on their budget, with a striker from Non league, is a much more interesting story than Spurs finishing 3rd on their budget, with a striker like Kane.
