As we all know the left side of our team is all right footed and needs attention this coming Summer. A left back and left winger must be top of Brucie's transfer list or whoever the manager is in the Summer, although I think Brucey will get another season provided we stay up.

Bearing in mind we can only attract certain types of players to our club, who do think would improve the left side?

Richardson didnt really set the world on fire did he and yes we still have George dont we! haha

Figeruoa maybe back on? espacially if Wigan go down, Bruce also seems to have a liking to Downing but not sure if Villa would sell

Elia (Hamburg)
Jarvis (wolves)
Pederson( Blackburn)
Hunt (Wolfsburg)
Dzsudzsak(PSV)

Left backs

Warnock (villa)
Tremoulinas (bordaux)spelling?
Taiwo (Marseille)
Cissokho (Lyon)
Kadlec (Leverkusen)

Good left backs seem to be at a premium Currently, will be alot of competition to get the decent one's

Wouldn't mind Downing. Loads of decent left midfielders out there at the minute.
 
I still like Adam Johnstone he can play either side, i recon he would come if we splashed the dosh, along with Jonny Evans, Samba and Kranjcar and if drogbars off him as well for c/f know we wont get him but he is the one for me at c/f
 
Anyone seen Fabio Coentrao at Benefica?

Watched him the other night in Europa League and was tremendous, I think hes the Portugese national team left-back though so I am probably dreaming here

He was superb mate and yeah City will probably get him or someone with a spare 20 million.

I think we need proven Premiership players this summer, players taking time to "settle in" and "adjust" are just not what this club needs at present.

That's alright for the midfielder, but there is not many good left backs in the leauge that would be realistic tagets.
Warnock is out of favour at villa.
Fig roll at Wigan, not sure of him defensively though. Not much after that, and even them two don't really excite me.
