Having been optimistic for years i find that after years of disappointment its better to be pessimistic and run the risk of being pleasantly surprised.... Each to their own.
You've never been optimistic, you admitted booing the team in 1990 at Oxford when we were top and went on to win the league.
Oh for those days when football was a working mans game and even the small teams had a chance of success!!
I didnt say which years i had been optimistic in. I also didnt say every year, leaving that to you happy clappies.
bottom line ... owner who has committed £100m so far rather than take it out, and who has stated he is here for good ... a squad that is improving all the time ... we have our ground back compared to the last decade of Bates, Cellino, Hockaday, Warnock and Evans we have every reason to be optimistic, because we now KNOW that Leeds United is a club on its way back to the Prem ... under the previous regimes we hoped, but deep down we knew there was no real chance ... now we believe, and we know that Radz's INTENT is to get to the Prem and establish Leeds United as a true force in Europe again ... because there is intent, it will happen to reply to this post with any negative comments would be churlish to say the least Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
He's spent £100M and you are nowhere near good enough for a top half finish - he needs to go to the bank and get another £100M sharpish!!
We don't actually know, unless I've missed the financial statement, what has been spent. If the post from Trigger is an attempt to correlate potential league performance with expenditure then..........bye bye bogans as there really isn't any point you lot turning up is there?
shut up you tart 2 things in life that can carry guarantees The Aussies will always live in Zealands shadow and Millwall will finish above Leeds and so will almost everyone else
Churlish or not you have no proof the squad as been improved, and I would be staggered if the management team works out. Mid table would be a success with what we have imo... But time will prove one of us right.
Being on the other side of the planet fortunately we see things from a different perspective but NZ always gets the sun before us
Not in the least, if somewhere he has stated that is his expenditure to date then that's what he has spent. I personally haven't seen such a statement. However if he has spent A$160 million approx and by your argument that isn't enough for a top half finish ,your words, then by your logic Millwall will finish where?
http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....sen-and-cost-of-buying-leeds-united-1-8683157 As for us, we haven't wasted £100M on players from foreign reserve sides and our manager knows English football inside out
Thanks for the link the rest is conjecture but you are entitled to your opinion. You can have a "Millwall Way" season
