Oh I don't know. I really enjoyed the section that went....The Southampton owner's are Swiss. The Swiss don't like World famous football figures with a history of success in management....they like Tony Pulis, he's on time... etc.
Also Granada are a team on the up with a decent budget for a small Spanish team. Same owners as Udinese and Watford
Days after saying 'I only want to manage one of Europe's big clubs' Michael Laudrup looks set to join Qatari outfit Lekhwiya Who????? ....set your sights high there mike....
Unfortunately that was not what he said - he never said "big" and as far as outside Europe he set not parameters. So perhaps just unsurprisingly looking for something different.
Interesting OP - are you CIPD qualified - if so have you considered a revision course - run me by the bit where you say someone can stay, then sack them by email a few hours later after a "rethink" as being textbook - kind of puts all of the rest in context
I thought it was more of a Party Political Broadcast on behalf of the Board To be honest I'm not really interested in the Laudrup sacking debate any more. I am firmly in the pro-Laudrup camp (that doesn't mean I am anti-Monk!) and have been interested in the debate which has been bashed about for the last few months. Opinion is polarised and for me the compo payout by the Board was the time to draw a line under it and move on. The signing of Fabianski signalled a fresh and positive change within the Club. Seeing regular threads on here about Laudrup doesnât really interest me any more and I rarely contribute to them, but this thread made me chuckle. Do any of you remember your first posts on not606 (or the old 606). A tentative sentence or a fraught paragraph maybe? Certainly not a 2291 word count! Itâs a stitch up
Our views are so polarized any attempt at fair and sensible debate is utterly futile. Life's far too short for this rediculouse Laudrup war to continue. No side can ever win this one anyway as no one has a single bone fide fact to fire into the afray, so what's the point, really. Oh yeah, Ravel Morrison anyone????? are we really in for him. He's a bit Gavin Henson isn't he?
Yeah. Ravel Morrison rumour (on top of signing a keeper I consider injury prone) worries me if I'm honest....but if he signs I'll be behind him and he certainly has the talent to prove the likes of me wrong. Just feel, if he joins, we are exposing ourselves to higher risk than usual this window (...and every transfer is a risk).
