You don't need to look very far to see the reason the Gas are sitting perilously close to the relegation zone.

Goals against total is pretty good relative to the majority of the teams in the table.
The goals for total shows that we are very much below par compared to most of the other teams.

How much longer are we going to blame the injuries for the demise in our season?

If we don't improve our attacking tactics now, I fear the worst could happen!!
 
Even with injuries we should still be on paper better equipped then any other team. Sadly IMO if we don't get in a striker who can score on a regular basis then we will be going down this season if I remember rightly this was the reason Leicester (under Holloway) went down a few seasons back as they just didn't score enough goals.

Bit of an exaggeration there!
 
We have one of the bigger budgets in this division for sure, but we ****ed it away on **** like Kenneth and Gill. Now both are gone, should free up a good enough fund to get a couple of decent players. Fingers crossed we dont get another Kenneth or Gill type player....past it, injury prone and rubbish wouldn't go down well right now
 
i think we are pretty sound at the back. yes they all make the odd error but that is expected. lockyer has impressed and i think is ready to make the CB role his own along side parkes. we have mcchrystal due back soon within 2 weeks. we also have woodards and paterson due back sometime in jan to allow more options and support.

our winger situation is weird. harrison and richards are used as wingers but are forwards. their position changes each week. clucas, clarke, norburn, lockyer have all played winger too which is stupid! hammer and santos is the only proper wingers at the club and hammer may not get the chance to play again this season and santos has only just receovered from injury. we need in my opinion 2 wingers at the club. i can see paterson and woodards when they return being used as wingers or put in at full backs and pushing smith and brown forward as wingers. i hope this isnt done but i wouldnt be suprised.

we just dont have any pace upfront. this needs to be sorted asap. we have no choice to to get a striker in the door but we need to make sure this person has bags of pace.

if we can bring in these players then we should be ok.
