I'll be in my normal seat giving the opposition stick, cheering on the lads, blaming our demise on the corrupt officials.
This could be a difficult one for Gills. All those Frenchmen in the Magpies team thought they were signing for Neuchatelle where the wine comes from on the Swiss border. Where did they end up? Geordieland with petit dejeurner at Alberts Chipshop. Is there a bigger nightmare for our froggie friends? Of course not and it is no wonder they cannot bring themselves to play football. So let us just think what the reaction will be when they suddenly step out at Priestfield. It will be like being home with the aroma of garlic wafting over the Channel and our Geordie friends will be singing Blaydon Races to the tune of the Marsaillaise. It looks ominous for Gills but the Magpies will be worried because the froggies will be trying to escape down the tunnel (Channel not Medway). It could be an interesting night but it will feel like a home game to the Geordiefrogs.
must admit like the title of this thread...a hidden gem...nice little earner for Mr Scally this game and i reckon Newcastle will sell out any allocation given to them.
The Newcastle game is a fantastic goal for all the Gills youngsters, who will be putting in an extra shift hoping to get a place in the starting line up against a Premiership Team.

Yep just got my tickets online for this game can't wait. Great week of football ahead let's hope we get a good win against Swindon on Tuesday so we can move forward with a belief we can give the Geordies a good game
Unfortunately I can not make this match. I was hoping it would have been moved but on the Tuesday I have a league managers meeting for the youth team I manage. I hope you all have a great time. I'll keep an eye on what is going on.
Last time we had a big game, it was home against Villa where Jackson's goal really put him in the shop window. This is a game that we should play our best X1 and try to progress........ for every game we get through is another payday for the club. If you don't get the games, you can't put the bums on the seats.
got my tickets online first thing- a lot smoother than i was expecting! cant wait. got a couple for crewe as well.
Only 50 odd tickets left in the Rainham End now & about the same number in Medway too....they will probably be snapped up by the end of the day. BMS not open yet but i expect they will have to shortly. Surprised the Toon only got 1250 allocation, maybe they wont sell out on a Tues night in the league Cup but thought we might have given them a few more. COYG Edit - Four blocks of Town End now open too.....Happy Days
As of 9.30 this morning just 286 tickets left in the ground for home Gills Fans & some of these are restricted view. They may of course open up a 5th & 6th block of the BMS yet but probably depends on away sales...anyone know if Newcastle have sold their allocation? Also likely to be some gaps in the boxes and or watch wine & dine seats in upper Medway stand if those offers have not been snapped up. Should be a cracking atmosphere though COYG
Got mine on Wednesday, Gordon Road was the only place I could get 3 in a row together without being Row A.
Another 140+ tickets gone this morning...just 3 left in Medway stand, 28 in Rainham End, 53 in GRS & 61 in Brian Moore. Heading for a sell out people (145 and counting, unless they open up another block of the BMS) COYG
