So does an abandoned match count as a non runner so to speak or is it result at abandonment?

 

Any match that doesn't start, or get completed, is void for betting purposes. So gets treated as a NR. I think everyone knows what that means but just in case I'll give an example

£10 Trixie A, B and C all to win
In decimal odds
A is 2.0
B is 2.5
C is 3.1


So that is
1. a £10 double A&B
2. a £10 double A&C
3. a £10 double B&C
4. a £10 treble A, B & C

£40 staked

Let's say A and C win and B is void

You can just regard the odds of B to be 1.0

Therefore
Bet 1 returns £10 * 2.0 * 1.0 = £20
Bet 2 returns £10 * 2.0 * 3.1 = £62
Bet 3 returns £10 * 1.0 * 3.1 = £31
Bet 4 returns £10 * 2.0 *1.0 * 3.1 = £62
Total return £175
