Cardiff
...a team that was top of the Premiership and dared to take us on in Cardiff was Leeds United, and wot happened then...can't think!
Now it all depends which Manchester City side turn uo on the day, the fabulous one on show tonight, or just the magnificent one lurking on standby.
kompany went off injured, he was a superior being tonight, and as much as I wouldn't wish him ill, a week on the sidelines would be a good thing.
What a team we face on Sunday in front of millions, 3-0 to us I suspect though! :emoticon-0103-cool:

with kompany injured we may have a chance...nah?

Masky!
I was thinking of the Leeds game last night as the score came in against Newcastle. They will think it's simply a case of turning up on Sunday. Create the kind of atmosphere we did against Leeds and it will be a cracking game.

BfB!
Why else do you think he's back. <laugh>

If it meant a win for us I would be chanting "We want Sam Hamman walking round the pitch." <ok>

I think it should be updated though to "We want Vinny Tan walking round the pitch. God willing."

I do enjoy watching the low pressure matches, get hammered and it doesnt matter but theres always the chance of a sneaky draw or win. Man City are looking really scary so far though.

At the end of the day lads - it's 11 against 11, no matter how frightening their 11 may be. Totally agree with Blue, you need the crowd to be the 12th man. They could put a few goals past you, they put four past us in our first PL game, all be it at their ground. But they are only human, they can lose games and there is no reason, however unlikely it may seem, that you can't get a result - whether that is a draw or a win.

On paper Man City should win, but you will be playing them on grass! ;)

Good luck guys; is a great feeling to claim a major 'scalp' and although it wont be easy, stranger things have happened!

Got to admit, though I have us down as a loss on another thread I've got a funny feeling about this, could Bellers send his old team packing ?

I hope so.

I have been thinking about the Leeds game since Monday too. I really believe if we could recreate a similar atmosphere then we'd have a chance. Ive yet to experience anything close to that at the new stadium though. A challenge for the fans too?

If there was only a way to recreate that Ninian hostility, might put a few off their game.

No pressure on you at all because no one expects you to get anything out of this game. Performance is what matters and if you do get anything then it's an added bonus. I don't see why you can't get anything though, we beat Man City 1-0 the season before last when they won the league. The game was in March when they were really going all out for the league so it can be done. The fans will be important though, if you can get behind the team and get in front then you never know. Enjoy the day

A bit of a massive step up this one so early. Could've done with an easier game, say Stoke or hmmm..no can't say it! :emoticon-0103-cool:
