We got Faye and Aluko on frees and Quinn for almost nothing, so whatever Possy cost, it doesn't really matter. A Leicester fan talking about bad business after last season is absolutely hilarious.
Doesn't worry me, and I don't like to rub it in with the decent Hull fans like yourself, but idiots like OLM that were claiming that we did bad business signing Vardy for £1m and that you did great business signing Prossie for £2.6m, despite the fact that they'd not actually seen either play.
That's a bit ironic, as you outplayed us on Sunday and he looked your worst Player. Anyone who thinks Chester isn't one of the best centre backs in this league knows nothing about football. By his standards he had a poor game today, but I wouldn't swap him for any other centre back in this league.
.... now I'm getting a bit concerned ... what were you and OLM doing together the other night? .. was it the beer?
The only players we overpaid for were Mills and Beckford. Mills probably cost Sven his job and rightly so. Beckford, a striker with pedigree, certainly looked a good signing at the time. Even so, these two were well known and respected. Prossie is a nobody.
According to Radio Leicester, Morgan was outstanding today and made two goal-saving challenges. Admittedly he didn't play well against you though.
No point in Proz, Simpson or anyone scoring if your going to be letting in 3 Also did warn you that Ferguson needed a win imo to keep his job. The way the review was written in the op, it sounded like exactly what happened last weekend, is that about right?
Not at all. We deserved to lose against you, you were by far the better team on the day. Check out the stats for today, three times as many shots on goal, 60% possession, five times as many corners, 80% of fouls against us, we were by far the better team, we just didn't take our chances while the Posh took all theirs. It was a fairly bizarre and mildly annoying game to watch, three counter attacks that led to three goals. Not an excuse, we didn't do enough to win, but there was only one team playing quality football today and it wasn't Fergie's mob.
Obviously, you don't wait to see the outcome before deciding if you take a bet. Had anyone have taken the bet, I would have paid out, I'm an old school Yorkshireman.
