Why did they stop making the Applause bars (although it's the "New" Applause I remember best). They were lovely.

Texan Bar.....

 

Nutty bars never get a mention. Used to love them...caramel covered in peanuts. Cabanas had coconut and cherries in them. I think everything else been mentioned!

 

Used to get a bag of Treats which were like revels or M and Ms. Spangles and spacers which were mint chews with a green stripe through them...

 

The Xmas selection box, Mars, Snickers, Twix, Twirl, Flake, Chomp, Milky Way, Fudge.

Fudge would still be there in April.

 

Parma violets - marvellous infactmost sweets were esp from the tuck shop next to Broadway school on Springwell road in God's Country town

 

They were really nice weren't they. Been quite a few lovely choc bars been discontinued.
