Hotspur and Victor for me. Used to wait by the letter box with baited breath for them to drop on the mat. I'm surprised none of our elder statesmen spotted my Captain Hurricane reference in an earlier comment.
See Sparkey....I KNEW you were a Beano and Dandy man. My sister had Bunty and I'd have a look over that too.....couldn't be bothered with them paper dressy things on the back though!!!!!
Saints fan in peace. I feel for you guys, you appear to have a nutter running the show, this is something us Saints fans know all about with one of our recent chairman ripping the guts out of our club. We now have someone that puts the club/supporters first, but when foreign money comes into our clubs you are never quite sure of the motives/outcome? Thought your lads were playing pretty well and holding your own in the Premiership, always liked MM but wonder who would now fancy the job? Good luck.
Looks like they already had someone in mind for the job Quote from BBC Sport "Dalman has a preferred candidate to replace Mackay should he be dismissed - the manager is a high-profile name currently in work outside the UK."
... been giving some thought to the likely job spec / key characteristics that Vincent may be looking for ... I think he'll want a well known name - he may even wish to placate the fans by opting for someone with Welsh Heritage. I get the feeling he won't mind a little flamboyance as long as the guy can keep more or less to the budget and we already know what type of qualifications he favours. It all points to one man ....... Lawrence Llewellyn-Bowen ... my logic is flawless - just off to the bookies to put my house on it
