Just wondering how the youngsters Doble, JWP and Hoskins got on for us and whether you think they have a future at this club??
Also wonder how Bart did do as it was his first game since the mare he had

Doble didn't sound like he got into the game too much - a bit hard when isolated as a youngster

Ward-Prowse obviously scored, and played well although didn't get into the game too much in the 1st half

Sam Hoskins & Ben Reeves sounded lively when he came on

Jack Stephens had a few good touches but not much

I only listened to it so people who went would probably be able to give a better summary!

can we have a valid opinion from someone at the game. anyone can listen to the radio.

Was at the game.

Doble, didn't really get into the game at all, very isolated up top on his own, no support from midfield really.

Ward-Prowse was fairly good, passed the ball around well and took his goal well too.

Hoskins and Reeves, full of energy and after they came on, there only looked like one winner.

Jack Stephens didn't really have time to impact the game so can't really comment on his performance.

So E O S.......Saints fan4life's summation from listening on the radio wasn't so far out. Perhaps we should not be so quick to condemn next time!

Well done lads keep the good work going, we must support these boys and others at Saints. No one can play well all the time but as long as they improve and reach there goals it will benefit Saints.

I was at the game and was impressed with Ward-Prowse in the 2nd half - definitely has a future at Saints. For me, Doble isn't good enough. Not just because of yesterday - he didnt do a great deal on loan at Bournemouth either.
