In summary then, if we'd scored goals instead of letting them in we'd have won.

And if my Auntie had balls she'd by my uncle.

A man has been spotted in the Portman road area of the town acting suspiciously, he is wearing a black cloak, and carrying a large sythe, the public are being warned not to approach this man as the result could be grim, he is thought to have a grudge with an employee of the football club.

    Morning Fellas,

I am not here to gloat or even take the piss I feel really sorry for the supporters of Ipswich. It's like looking in the mirror 3-4 seasons ago, a hapless manager and players that won't turn up for him.

It seems apparant that Jewell has lost the dressing room and the only person that is still backing him is Clegg. I was shocked to see how empty your ground was last night 16000 odd in that stadium must make the stadium feel really empty.

I personally think that a drop down to L1 would do you good, like it did us and restore some feel good factor to the club by winning games and having a fresh start with a young up and coming manager. I for one really miss the derby games and I don't wish you to go to the wall.

It's sad to see the club in that current state, it really is.

Supers - cant see anyway for him to continue if we do get beaten on Saturday. I think by that time so many fans will already have written him off that even a decent winning streak after that they wouldnt forgive him.
Kemp - I seriously dont see anyway that relegation will be a good thing for us. I dont think it was the relegation that helped you. It may have given your board a kick up the arse but I would imagine it was more the fact that you got the right team in place that made your time down there better. Delia Might be a bit mad but at least she has a passion for you guys. For every story like yours there are also the likes of Leeds & Wednesday who suffered major problems once stuck in div 1 and with financial fair play approaching then the money side of things could be a disaster.

to be fair though tractorbhoy, i could never have imagined he'd have survived your run of however many defeats in a row last year. i watched that now infamous game at barnsley and you could have been 6 nil down at half time. you were so poor even i was embarrassed! the second half comeback may have saved his job for another twelve months but it was arguably a result which has set your club back a further year - you'd have been better off getting pummelled and getting someone new in back at that time. easy with hindsight of course...

i'm one who advocates a little spell dropping down a division but i'm not sure your club would take to it. you could take coventry as an example of what could happen but they'll come back stronger eventually, even if it takes them two or three years to acclimatise and get themselves new owners etc. it would give your fans a reality check (which undoubtedly one or two need) and your owner too, but as you say, its a minefield - you're better off staying up and getting yourselves sorted in the championship as the risks are far less. i predicted you'd finish 15th - i see no reason to change it as yet and you'll definitely get a new manager soon - he can't keep on putting out these fires with his dick <ok>

Its strange though Supers because as you say against Barnsley we should have got hammered yet won. This season is the opposite. We have had clear cut chances to score and therefore potentially win every game this season (except possibly Blackpool) and are suffering for it. As they say its a funny old game!

your club has been treading water for some time now. at this stage its very possible you could drown, or is it better to get on the lifeboat, head back to shore, freshen up, have an ice cream and head back out into the water re-energised?

i have no idea what i'm talking about <laugh>

I would settle for a win on Saturday as an immediate aim. Other than that who knows.

Is it just me or did that motley crew of musicians in the corner bang out a kind of death march on their drums for the first 20 minutes of last nights game?

Appropriate maybe, but it didn't help the already gloomy atmosphere around the ground.

Luckily the corner flag incident seemed to put an end to their contribution.

And that is the thing. For me I think he speaks honestly but as you say with the same things happening week in/ week out its not a case of what he says, its a case of what is being done to sort it out.
