Let's have it right..Furlong is not good enough to be a Championship player. The way you have to look at it, is players like Will Hughes at Derby. He broke into the first team at 17, starting game and playing every week. If our players aren't doing that at 17, the chances are they won't be doing it at 19 and 20. People like Doughty, Furlong, Sutherland and arguably Kpekwa, should do what Max Ehmer did and leave. There is no point having them in the "u21 development" squad if they aren't going to break into the first team before they're 19.
Nottingham Forest captain Henri Lansbury linked with QPR Nottingham Forest captain Henri Lansbury has been linked with a move to Saturday's FA Cup opponents QPR. The Reds' Championship rivals are keen to revamp their squad under new manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. The Brent and Kilburn Times report Lansbury is on their January shortlist, claiming Hasselbaink is a long term admirer of the midfielder. Hasselbaink, a former Forest coach, has been told there is money to spend, seemingly subject to moving people on. Rangers have also been linked to former Manchester United midfielder Ravel Morrison, who came close to joining the club in the last transfer window, and Dutch winger Nasser El Khayati, who plays for Hasselbaink's former club Burton. QPR are actively looking to offload players off their wage bill and are open to offers for Charlie Austin, Sandro, Leroy Fer and Matty Phillips. Lansbury rejected the chance to join Burnley in the summer, although they may yet test the water again with Forest 14th in the Championship, ten points off the play-offs. QPR, who travel to the City Ground at the weekend for the third round tie, are 16th in the table as they plot a return to the Premier League. Burnley – relegated with the London side last season – are fifth. http://www.nottinghampost.com/Trans...ptain-Henri/story-28467218-detail/story.html?

....and he's a midfielder too - would fit in really well. After that performance against Swansea he must be worth a pretty penny or two? Looks like WBA let him slip through the crack?
