Apparently it’s a Saudi team. He’s actually gone apparently. wtf. Im actually quite sad if this is true.
Same if true. Always gave 100% and well suited to the pressing style that Howe favours. Often poor end product though, so was still hoping for an upgrade in the summer - with Almiron staying put as a decent backup option.
If he has gone, and it's a still an if. It's more a reflection on the state of the squad that was left under Ashley/Charnley/Bruce and the fact that only the better players of that squad have any transfer value. There's a ton I'd prefer out the door ahead of Miggy but the simple fact is other than Wilson, who from that previous regime has any value today?
Maybe can get something worthwhile (5m - 15m) for Dubz, Longstaff and Lascelles? I would say Schar as well if he was a bit younger Can't see anyone else who garners any fee unless Murphy has a worldy of a second half of the season.
God knows, Anyone's only worth what someone will pay, but again if you get rid of Miggy then in theory it's 2 right sided attackers needed rather than one. I always assumed it would be a new right sided attacker and Miggy dropping to the bench, likewise I though we'd batter through to the summer then grab a young striker capable of playing games to compete with Isak and Wilson. There's also Kraft (out of contract this year), Fraser (too much wages for Saints?) Hendrick (Sorry Trev) Hayden, Karius. Only one probably worth a decent chunk left after Miggy and Wilson would be Joelinton - who I don't want to leave.
FFP is really hitting us now which I am surprised at. It seems most clubs in the PL can’t afford a Greggs sausage roll atm.
