This one baffles me a bit - if the interest is genuine. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a good player, injury record aside. But realistically, what would we do with him? His natural position is the same as Bruno's. And while I get that we want cover, why spend another £50m+ on a bench warmer? Especially when we have Tonali back in a year. Phillips won't start ahead of Bruno and he's not natually suited to RM or LM. At keast not in a way ti oust out current lafs. So why is he a priority, for that 0rice tag? I don't get it.
Have to agree mate and despite his 1st few seasons at Leeds he's looked pretty **** ever since. Having said that I guess he can't be a bad player.
I'd be giving it a few weeks at this rate to see what priorities are. Keeper could be a shout, striker could be a shout, rcm a shout, right winger a shout. Way our injuries are going we'll be naming coaches on the bench soon.
Phillips on form is better that joelinton. Bruno tonali and Phillips with joelinton, longstaff and William to rotate. We need rotation. If Eddie wants him huge must be good
I don't think he is ..joelinton is the most skilful and strongest player at the club. Longstaff isn't as good as either though.
Pope out 4-5 months... Keeper incoming I reckon and that could spell the end of Pope. Can't rely on Dubravka that long surely.
TBH I'm fine with Dubz for the time being, he never let the club down before - granted he's a bit older now but he's a safe pair of hands and I'd rather him than Karius or Gillespie!
