Love to know how they arrive at a figure...done some quick sums and rounded up/down. Can't imagine Saints have released a figure....hardly good for a negotiating position. I think we could all arrive at a figure and be just as likely to be right.

That's probably how they arrived at it, but life ain't that simple. Available cash could be reduced by lack of desire to spend or costs we know nothing about. On the other hand, cash could be increased by Katharina having temporary insanity or finding Nicola's secret stash down the back of the sofa in the Chairman's office.

Attacking midfielder similar to Tadić, can play on either side or in the middle. Very good with the ball, always looking to get involved, popping all over the pitch, great dribbler, has an eye for a pass.

If so sounds like a great signing at the price mooted. Back up for Tadic but could also play as well potentially (allowing Tadic to move back over the the left). We lack suitable back up for Pelle, Tadic and Forster. This signing sounds like it could address one of those (then we just need to sort the others - Guidetti perhaps?)

This rumour seems completely new (whereas most of our links so far are summer ones that have resurfaced). I'd like to think this is obscure enough to be a "no smoke without fire" situation with some truth to it (as opposed to things like links to Lambert back to Saints or Clyne to Liverpool which really seem to be lazy journalism)

 

With the nonsense paper talk of Lambert back to us on loan (pointless because he won't get game time), I was wondering what PL sides people think Lambert could get regular starts in?

QPR - I would say yes but they will look to Defoe almost certainly. I can't imagine them bringing both in
Burnley - Maybe (Vokes has been injured a long time) but would not match his wages
Leicester - He plays the same role as Ulloa who they spent big money on.
Villa - Benteke would be ahead when fit
Hull - short on strikers.

Don't feel like going much higher than bottom 5 at the moment.
