I thought that was another clue but it is a reference to the third kit.

So clues were:
- pelle type striker
- plays in Germany or holland
- not white
- was there one about age?

If I had the latest football manager I might be able to have A go at coming up with some guesses using the search function ...

 

I think the likeyhood is it's Holland. The German league is so tight across the board I can't see any of them wanting to sell unless it's for serious money. Without getting into racial issues, would Luc Castaignos fit the bill?

Saints biggest fan Adrian Durham (he of the Daily Mail article) along with Darren Gough appear to be trying to sell Clyne to Manure for £15m on their drive time show.

I think he does. Also I think he has the ability to play wide so adds some flexibility .

I think I might do a search on fm14 when I get home as I don't think we will succeed in signing someone who only moved 6 months ago

I wonder if the reveal of the extra clue is a hint that there has been positive developments in the deal...

 

I assume 15m is due to only having 18 months on his contract. Because Coleman is always valued at 25m in the gutter press. And clyne is (a lot) better than Coleman

 

I know for fact that reading were looking at choupo moting when they were in the prem. Could be a good striker. Why are we looking at another pelle? Surely we need a smaller goalscorer to pick up knockdowns. Never seen a team play with 2 big men up top...

Yes, I had the misfortune of hearing that. The guy who owned the radio shouted out, bloody talkSport trying to sell our players for us again..!

I could only agree. Somewhere along the line, these people are going to realise that what is good for Arsenal, Chelsea, ManU, etc.., is also good for Saints. The more players stick around, the quicker that players won't need to go elsewhere to get to the top.

 

I gave up with talk sport a long time ago their only interest appears to be in the big 4. Constant boring drivel about chelsea arsenal and the mancs

Durham just tries to wind fans up i cant believe people still a) listen and then b) buy into the wind up

 

The underlying issue with Talksport is that it is a commercial radio station, designed to make money for their owners/their investors, so their phone lines are premium rate (at least, they are not freephone numbers), so the presenters choose topics, and take extreme stances on those topics, in order to goad people into phoning in, so that they are charged sizeable amounts of money just to disagree with the views of the presenters.

Assuming the above clues the ones I could come up with is:

Castaignos (as already mentioned)
Jurgen Locadia from PSV

Choupo-Moting only joined Schalke in the Summer and he is one of I think only 3 strikers they have. And they are still in the Champions League. So I don't see it being him

I couldn't find many others who fit the clues and would be available. Although I can't say I looked at every club and all their strikers...
All that said, but aside from being tall Castaignos does not have much in common style wise with Pelle. I can definitely see where the Henry comparisons come from with him (Youtube clips only though!). Obviously not as good (and Babel was likened to Henry in Holland)
